PHILADELPHIA, PA — Leaning on nearly two decades of experience in the communications and publishing industries, Rob Stott has formally announced the launch of a new business venture, RLS Creative Services. The new firm will specialize in crafting smart, effective strategies that help brands tell their stories through a variety of marketing, communications, and other creative avenues. RLS Creative Services will launch with a keen focus on helping professionals in the residential and commercial integration industries.
“Having supported this channel in a variety of ways over the years, I noticed a growing need for smarter storytelling and more meaningful connections across our network,” said Stott, the Founder and CEO of RLS Creative Services. “Launching this new venture felt like the best way possible to leverage my skillset to meet the needs of this channel head-on.”
Today’s business owner is being pulled in more directions than ever before. Their efforts to wear many hats often results in critical business needs like marketing and communications being under-utilized. That’s where an integrator can turn to RLS Creative Services for support in developing and executing impactful campaigns that shine a light on their business and drive results. From basic press release writing to full-blown marketing campaigns, and everything in between, business owners can leverage the company’s expertise and talents to better tell their own story, both locally and on a broader scale.
“No two businesses are alike, which is also why no two RLS Creative Services programs will look the same either,” Stott said. “Our priority will be to take a tailored approach to each of our clients. We’ll build programs based entirely on their needs rather than mixing-and-matching services from a set menu.”
A trade journalist at his core, Stott won’t be venturing too far away from the channel with this new venture. Among the company’s first major moves, Stott announced that it had acquired all assets related to the Connected Design brand. First launched in 2017, Connected Design was a major print platform that shined a spotlight on the unique intersection of the high-end technology, design, and architecture industries. It had a strong six-year run before ultimately shuttering at the end of 2023. Stott, with guidance from strong roster of early partners and supporters, will relaunch the brand later this month with a refreshed look, mission, and strategy.
“Very early on with Connected Design we recognized the importance of showcasing technology as a partner in the luxury homebuilding and design sector, rather than a hurdle,” said Stott. “The publication might’ve been ahead of its time at that time, but the timing feels right to bring it back and provide the channel with an independent voice and an independent platform. It will align perfectly with everything we hope to accomplish with RLS Creative Services.”
